Owned and operated by Dawn Howard, Southcote Performance Horses began with Dawn’s search to find herself the ‘perfect’ horse. A chartered accountant by trade, Dawn emigrated from the UK to New Zealand in 2016 with her favourite horse Sammy in tow. On arrival she struggled to find another horse of his quality so decided to try breed her own and there her love of breeding was realised. Dawn has now made it her mission to bred Elite Dressage Horses and High-Performance Show Jumpers, which have the trainability and nature to match their athleticism and talent.
